THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration is authorized
to make grants for the improvement of municipal airport facilities;
and
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration may have
additional funds made available if the Airport Development Aid
Program be extended by the Federal Congress; and
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the City of Cape Girardeau
to continue to upgrade its airport facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
and file the grant application on behalf of the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, a Municipal Corporation, with the Federal
Aviation Administration.
2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to furnish
such additional information as may be required in conjunction
with the application or the project.
