�7HEREAS, The City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau, N:issouri, by
Conuiu.ssion Form Ordinance No. 1194, passed and approved on the lOth day of
N:a� 19 49, adopted plans, specifications and an estimate of cost
and authorized the construction of a system of lateral sewers to be used in
the disposal of sanitary sewage in the territory defined as Sewer
District �iumber 7'C , a subdivision of Sewer Aistrict No.
7, �.nd set the date of april 1$, 1950, as the date for receiving bids for the
con�truotion of said sewer system, aald
tiJHEREAS, on the lE3th day of �lpril, 1950, no bids were received by the
Council, and
��iEREaS, the Cot:�ncil of the Cit�T of Cape Girardeau, N.issouri, is of the
opinion that said system of sanitary sewers should be constructed, for the
health of said City, and that construction costs including la�or, materials
and equipment have increased, and a revised estimate of cost has been prepared
by the Cit y r�ngineer, and filed with the City Clerk, on the 2lst day of April,
1950, which revised estimate of cost is based on unit prices which are con�istent
with current construction costs, said revised estimate totalli.ng � 62,211.Op

SECTIOi�T l. That the revised estimate of cost for the construction of said
system of sanitary sewers to be used in the disposal of sanitary sewage in the
territory defined as Sewer District Number 7-C,
a subdivision of Sewer District I�o. 7, �repa,red by the City Lngineer, and filed
with the City Clerk on the 21st day of r�pril, 1950, and totalling �;;� 62,211.00

SECTIOIJ 2. That following the provisions as set out in �aid Commi.ssion
Form Ordinance I1o. 1194 , bids shall be received by the City Clerk, for said
work of constructing said sanitary sewers in Sewer District Number 7-C
a subdivision of Sewer District No. 7, up to 2:30 P.Ni., on Tuesday, the lbth
day of l�iay, 1950.
SLCTION 3. That following the provisions as s�t out in Comndssion Form
Ordinance No. 1194 , and taking into consideration the revising of the engineer;
estimate and the necessity of readvertising for bids under this ordinance and
Commission Form Ordinance No. 119L� , the completion date described in Section
13� of Commission Form Ordinance IJo. 119t� � shall be changed to January 1,1951.

part of Commission Form Ordinance No. 1194 , in conflict with the provisions of
this ordinance are hereby repealed. '
