ItHEREAS, The City Counci3. of the C�ty of C�pe Girardeau, N:i�souri, by
Coun,t�.asion Form Ordinance No. 7155 , passed ar� approved on the 9th day of
June 19 1�.8, adopted plans/ specif'icatcions and an estimate of cost
and authorized the construction of a s�rstem of trunk seaders to be used in
the disposal of sanitar�r sewage in the territory defined a� Joint Sewer
District No. 7-A and 7-B, , a subdivision of Sewer pi8trict 230.
7, and set the date �of �pril 18, 1q50, as the date for receiv3.ng bida for the
constrp�t3.oai of said �Sewer system, and
��hiEREAS, on the lSth day of /�pril, 19�0, no bid,s were received by the
Council, and
WHk�REAS, tl�e Coun�cil of the Cit�- of Cape Girardeau, N.�ssouri, is of the
opi.nion that sa�d system of aanitary sewers should be constructed, for t�he
health of said City, and that construction costs including labor, materials
and equi�nt have �.n�creased, and a revised estimate of cost has been prepared
by the City r.�gineer, and filed with the City Clerk, on the 21st day oP Hpril,
1950, which revised estimate of eost is based on unit prices Which are con�aistent
with eurrent construction costs, said revised estix�a,te total.li.ng � 20,�.53•40

BE IT Ot�De�IN� BY THE CITY COUIVTCIL OF THi C21'Y OF CAPE GIR�►R.DE/�U, P-lISSOURZ,

SECTIO�v lo That the revised estimate of cost for the construction of said
sy�tem of sani�ary s�wers to be used in the disposal of sanitary sewage in the
territory defined as Joint Sewer District Number 7-A and 7-B,
a subdivision of Sewer District I�,io. 7, nrepared by the City �gineer, and filed
with the Cit3r Clerk or. the 21st day of r,pril, 1950, and totalling � zo,453•�'�
be an� the sume is hereby ap;�roved a�id ado�ted as the goverr�ing estimate of cost
for the construction of said sewers as set out in Corc�riission Form Ordinance No.
1155 , passed and ap"roved by the City Council on the 9th day of June,

S,�CTION 2. That following the provisions as set out in �aid Corcpnission
Form Ordinance PTo. 1155 , bids shall be reeeived by the City Clerk, for said
work of constructing said sanitary sewers in Joint Sewer District Number 7-� and 7-B,
s subdivision of Sewer District Non 7, up to 2:30 P.Ni., on Tuesday, the 16th
day af l�lay, 1950.
S�.�CTIOPd 3. That follow�ng t.�e provisions as set out in Commi.ssion Fa�tn
Ordinance No, 1155 , and taking ir�to consideration th� revising of the engi.neers
e�timate and the necessity of ,readvertising for bids under thi� ord�.nance and
Commission Form Ordinance Na. 1155 , the compl�tion date described in Section
13, of Cammission Form Oxdinance No. 1155 , shall be changed to January 1,1951.
