iJHEREAS, T�he C�,ty Counci� of the Ci,ty of Cape Girardeau, rliasouri, by
�omu�i.ss�Lon Form Ordinance Nc�. 17-93 , pa8s�sd and approved on the lOth day of
Niay 19 49, adog5ted plans,� specifications and a�n estimate of cost
and authorized the construction of � system of �r�k sewers to be used in
the di�po�al of sanitary sewaga in the �er�ytary defined as Sewer
District Number 7-B , a subdiviaion of Sew�er AiBtrict No.
7, and set the date of �lpril 18, 1950, as the date for receiving bids for the
cor�strur�tian of �a�d sewer systera, and
�1HEREAS, on the lSth day of April,• 1950, no bi.ci�s were received by the
Council, and
j�fiEREtiS, the Council of the City of Ca�e �irardeau, N:issouri, is of the
opinion �hat said system of sanitary sewers should be con5t�ructed, for the
health of s�id City, and that conatruction costs incl.uding labor, materifals
and equipmeMt have increased, and a revised estimate of cost has been prepared
by the City r�ngineer, and filed with the City Clerk� on the 21st day of ypril,
�950, ��-ch revised estimate of cost is based an unit prices which are con�istent
with current constructi.on co�ts, s�.id revised estimate totalling � 29,�:18.00

SECTION 1� That the revised estimate of cost for the construction of said
�ystem of sanitary sevrers to be used in the disposal of sana.tary sewage in the
territory defined as Sewer vistrict Number 7-B,
a subdivision of Sewer District ILo. 7, prepared by the City �iazgineer, and filed
with the City Clerk on the 21st day of t�pril, 1950, and totalling �;� 29,k1$.00

for the construction of said sewers as set out in Coriuriission F'orm Ordinance Pdo.
1193 , passed and apnroved by the City Council on the lOth day of N1ay,
19 49.
SECTION 2. That following the provision� as set out in Qaid Coirsnission
Form Urdinance PIo. 1193 , bids sha1.I be �eceived by the City C1erk, for said
work of constructing said sanitary sewers in Se�rer District Number 7-B,
8 subdivision of 5ewer District No.. 7, up to 2:30 P.Ni., on Tuesday, the lbth
day of riay, 19 5 0.
S"�,C'�ION 3. That following the provisions as s�t out in Commission Form
Ordinance No. 1193 , and tak�ng into consideration the revising of the engineera
eatimate and the necessity of readvertising for bids under this ordinance and
Commission Form Ordinance No. 1193 , the completion date described in Section
13, af Commission Form Ordinance No. 1193 , shall be changed to January 1,1951.
S�TION $4 Al1 ordina.nce� or �parts of ordi.nances, and in particular any
part of Con�mission Form Ordinance No, 1193 , in conflict with the provisions of
this ordinance are h�reby repealed. •
