�JHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau, r�issouri, by
Cct�mussion Form Ordinance Na� 1156 , pa,ased and approved on the 9th day of
June ].q 4q, adopted plans, speci,f,ications and an estimate of cost
and authora.zed the construction of a system of lateral sewers to be used in
the disposal o.� sanitary sewage in the territory de�'ined as Sewer District
Number 7-A , a subdi•Jision of Sswer District No.
7, arad set t,he date of Ap�il 18, 1950, as the date for receiving bids for the
constru�ion of said sewer system, and
ti��hiEREAS, on the 1$th day o� Apri3., 1950, no bid� �+ere received by the
Counc3.I, and
WHEREi�S, the Council of the City of Cape Girardeau, N:issouri, is of the
opinion that said system of sanitary sewers 5hould be const�ucted, for the
health of s�id City, and that construction costs inc3.uding labor, materia�s
and equipment have increased, and a revised estimate of cost has been prepared
by the Cit y r�ngineer, and filed with the City Clerk, on the 21st day of Kpril,
1950, which retrised estimate of cost is based on unit prices which are con�i�tent
with current construetion costs, said revised estim�te totalling � 26,586.50

SECTIDN 1. That the revised estimate of cost for the construction of said
sy�tem of sanitary sewers to be used in the disposal of sanitaxy sewage in the
territory defined as Sewer Uistrict Number 7-A,
a subdivision of Sewer District nTo. 7, prepa.red by the City l::ngineer, and filed
with the City Clerk on the 21st day of tipril, 1950, and totall�ng <;� 26,586.50

for the construction of said sewers as set out in Con�nission Form Ordinance No.
1156 , passed and apnroved by the City Council on the 9th day of June,

SF.CTION 2. That following the provisions as set out in �aid Comrnission
Form Ordinance P1o.1156 , bids shall be received by the City C1erk, fox said
wnrk of constructing said sanitary sewers in Sewer Di strict Number 7-A,
a subdivision of Sewer District No. 7, up to 2:30 P.Ni., on Tuesday, the lbth
day of Niay, ig5o.
S'.3CTION 3. Tha� following the provisions as set out in Commisaion Form
Ordinance No.1156 , and taking into consideration the revising af the engineers
estimate and the necessity of readvertising for bid$ under this ordinance and
Commission Form Ordinance Noe 1156 , the completion date described in Section
13, of Commi.ssion Form Ordinance TJo. 1156 , shall be changed to January l,1q51.
