SCTION 1 That Section 2 of Commission Form Ordinance
No. t, passed and approved on'the 25th day of April,
1929, shall be and the same is amended to change the
boundaries of the present "A" One -Family District to
the "G" Business Districts to -wits
(a) All of Tots 1129314 5 and 6,
Block 9, of Oak Park Subdivision to the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
SECTION 2. That Section 1 of Commission Form Ordinance
No. 1162, passed and approved on the 2nd day of June,
1947, shall be and the same is amended to change -the
boundaries of the present "A" One -Family District to
the "G" Business District; to -wits
(a) All of Dots 1 and 21 Popp's
Subdivision of Sturdivant's Subdivision.
Same being the land approximately 666
feet South of Independence Street and
lying between Kingshighway and Cape La
Croix Creek.

SECTION 3. That Section/of Commission Form Ordinance
No. 1102, passed and approved on the 2nd day of June,
1947, shall be and the same is amended to change.the
boundaries of the present"A" One -Family District to
the "I" Tight Industrial District (excepting that part
previously zoned for the "I" bight Industrial District
by Commission Form Ordinance No. 1128 (Sect. 2) passed
and approved on September 29, 1950), to -wit:
(a) All that parts of Lots 3 and 4 of
Popp's Subdivision of R. L. Sturdivant's
Subdivision, and all that part of Outlot 87
and the Rodney 406 arpens tract lying West
of the West Corporate Limits as established
in 1925, Bast of U.S. Highway No. 61, South of
Independence Street and Horth of Bloomfield
Street*
SECTION j. The City Council hereby finds and declares
that the property in the preceding Sectiondescribed
is at present p,rtially devoted to the uses authorized
in the Business and j hg t I g ri ni t* i et
Jx,e-�, and the Council further finds that the change,
authorized by those amendment €fry reasonable and in
reasonable conformity with the existing use and the
value of the surrounding property.
SECTION 5. The Council further finds that public
notice has been given of the changes and amendments
contained in this Ordinance for fifteen (15) days in
the "Southeast Missourian", a newspaper of general
circulation published in the City of Cape Girardeau'
Missouri' and that a public hearing has been held thereon,
and that no protests were filed or made on any of the
changes contained herein and that the City Council
did submit the changes to the City Planning Commission
which did then and there recommend the changes as con-
tained in this Ordinance and -that the Council has thus
the jurisdiction to enact said amendments as herein
contained,
SECTION 6, All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in
conflict with the provisions hereof are hereby repealed
(except as -he_, mentionsd) i but the provisions of
-other Zoning Ordinances (No. 566 and No. 1102) which
are not amended or changed hereby9 shall remain in full
force and effect.
SECTION 7. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force and effect from and after ten (10) days after
its passage and approval.
