WhEHEAS, Commission Form Ordinance No. 1189, passed and
approved by the City Council of the City of cape Girardeau,
Missouri, was passed on the 28th day of February, 1949, and in-
corporated therein the traffic regulations of the City of Cape
Girardeau, Iii ssouri ; and
WHEAE S 9 no mention was made in said Ordinance of the
storaKe and parking of motor vehicles on the Str,, ets of said City
for a period of twenty-four hours or lonZer; and
WH REAS, the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, now deems it
expedient to the health, safety and welfare of the public to pass
such ordinance.
NCO, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEaU , F° -IIS SOU HI , RS F OLLO1- S :
SECTION 61:1. That this Ordinance shall become a part of and
Section 61 of Commission Fort: Ordinance No. 1189, passed and
approved by the City Council of the City of gape Girardeau,
Nissouri, on the 28th day of February, 1949.
SECTION 61:2. That from and after the effective date of this
Ordinance it shall be -unlawful for any person, firm, p- atn� h"
l co -partnership, association or corporation, to store'or parcnany�� �'d''Q
vehicle or device, upon or by which any person or property is or

be transported or drawn, upon a street or highway of the City
f Cape Girardeau, State of Missouri, in any one spot or location,
.dor a period of twenty-four ( 24) continuous hours.
SECTION 61:3. Any person who shall violate any of the provisions
of this Article shall be deemed guilty of a mAdemeanor and upon
conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not less than
11.00 nor more than 0100.00.
SECTIOP{ 61: All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent
with, contrary to, or in conflict with the provisions of this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
UECTICN 61:5. Because of the in:media;-e and great danger to the
public health, safety and welfare of the people of the City of
:,ape Girardeau, Iflissouri, this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passes -e and approval.
