AN ORDINANCE A�ENDTNG COM.�ISSION FORM OR.DI1dANCE N0. 1285, PASSID
AND At'PROVID BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, 1�';ARCH l, 1951, BY REPEALING SECTION 3 OF SAID ORDINANCE
AND ENACTING IN LIE[1 THEFtEOF A NEt�i SECTION DEALING WITH THE SAME
SUBJECT MATTER AIVD RELATING TO THE ESTABLISFiMENT OF A STREET
HNOWN AS SHERID�N DRIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CZTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 3 of Commission Form Ordinance No. 1285, passed and
approved by the City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, on
March 1, 1951, be and th� same is hereby repealed.
Section 2. That in lieu of Section 3 of Commission Form Ordinance No. 1285,
there is hereby enacted a new Section to be known as Section 3 of Commission
For�n Ordinance No. 1285, which in words and f igures is as follows:
"Section 3. That there shall be established over the following de-
scribed real estate lying, being and situate in the City and County
of Cape Girardeau, �dissouri, a str�et to be known as Sheridan Drive,
the right-of way of which is described as folloxs:
'�All that part of Lot Z`r�enty-one (21) of Sturdinant's Subdivision
of Out I�ot 58, U.S.P. Survey 2199, in the City of Cape Gixardeau,
Missouri, described as follo�rs, to-wit: Start at the Southeast corner
of said Lot 21; thence N. 82° 30' W., with the south line of said Lot
21, 172.5 feet for a beginning corner; thence N. 25° 28' E., lt82.5
feet to a paint 23.0 feet vrest of the east li.ne of said Lot 21; thence
N. 7° 22' E., parallel to said east line, 180.0 feet to the south line
of Independence Street; thence N. 82° 53' 1�., with said south line,
50.0 feet; thence S. 7° 22� W., 171.8 feet; thence S. 25° 28+ W.,
1t82.5 feet; thence S. 7° 30' W., 7.9 feet to the south line of said
Lot 21; thence S. 82° 30' E., with said south line, 50.0 f eet to the
beginning corner."
