Section l. The grade as determinecl by the followin� elevations in feet
above the Bilo�si. or Mean Gulf Datu� is hereby established as the grade for the
center line of Caruthers Avenu� from Independence Street to Broadwa�r.
Section 2. Begin at the edge of the existing concrete pavenent at
Independerice Street with an elevation of 3g2.30; thence to an elevation of
382.3$ at the north line of Independence St., same being Station 0+00; thence
with an ascending grade of 0.'70� to an elevation of 382.73 at St�• 0+50; thence
with a vertical curve to an elevation of 38k.98 at Sta. 1+50 at the end of
said curve; thence �rith an ascending grade of 3.80� to an elevation of 3$g•97
at Sta. 2+55; thence with a vertical curve to an elevation of 3$9•92 at Sta.
3+05 at the end of said curve; thence with a vertical curve to an elevation of
3g9•42 at Sta. 3+55 at the end of said curve; thence with a descenciing grade
of 2.01� to an elevation of 3$6.50 at Sta. 5+00; thence wi.th an ascending
grade of 1.0� to an elevation of 387.70 at Sta. 6+20; thence with a vertical
curve to an elevatio:� of 391.5$ at Sta. 7+20 at the end of said curt�e; thence
arith an ascending grade o� 6.7'lp to an elevation of 393•62 at Sta. 7+50; thence
with a vertical curve to an elevation of 39�..05 at Sta. 8+50 at the end of said
curve; thence with a descencling grade of 5•91� to an elevation of 383.1� at

Section 3. All ordinances or parts o.f ordinances in conflict with this
ordinance are hereby repealed.
This or•dinance to be in force front and after its pa.ssage.
