WHEREBS '�y Ordinance No. �d��, passed and approved on the .�� day
of llda�� 19�+�� the roadv�ray of that �,ortion of College Street in tne Cit;� of
Cape irardeau� bSissouri, from the east edge of the existing c�ncrete pave-
ment on Sprigg Stren� to the north edge of the existing concret� pave�ent
on Maple Avenu�� was ordered repaired and resur�'aced by sha��ng� fine grad-
ing, rolling and pri��ng the existing gravel base, and lay�ng and install-
ing thereon a penetration asphalt surface not less than 1-1/2 inches in
thickness � ar�a I� f�et wid�� and
WHEREAS , said work has been do�e under contract by �h� Asphalt Products
Corporation of Cape Girardeau� l�qisso,�ri� under the direction and supervision
of the City Engineer� and
�cYHEREaS � John R. T�lalther� City �ngineer� has heretofore filed his re-
port showing the total cost of repairing and resurfacing said portion of
said street to be $977.04, the total number of linear feet of property
fron�ing and abutting there�n to be 1628,�+ feet, ar.d the cost per front
foot of abutting property to be 60¢, and showing the p�oportionate share
of such total cost chargeable against each lot� tract and par�el of land
fronting and abutting on said portion of said street� and
WHEREAS , said rep�rt has been examined by the Cfluncil and found to be
in proper forrn, and thz Counci� finds that the total cost of said repairing
and resurfacing does not exceed 60¢ per front foot on al1 of th� property
fronting and abutting on said port�.��,� of said street� NO�V THEREFORE .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THP CITY QF CAiE GIRARDEAU�
MI��OURI, AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION 1. That the renort of John R. VJalther, City Engineer, cover-
in� t�� repairzng and r�surfac�.�ng of that portion of Coyl��e S�r�et from
the �as� edge of the existing cancrete pavement on sprigg Street to the
nor�h edge of the existing concrete pavement on �iaple Avenue, be and the
same is hereby accepted and ordered filed.
SECTION 2. Th.at the City Coun.cil finds said report to be correct� and
further finds that the total cost to the ab��t�:�.�g n�oper�:y owners of the
repairing and resurfacing of said portion of sa�.d Colle�� Street does not
exceed 60¢ per front foot on the �roperty fronting and abutting on said
portion of said street.
SECTION 3. A special tax is hereby levied and assessed aga:inst all
of the proioerty fronting and abuttin on said porti.on of said street in
a sum equal ta 6Q� per fr�nt foot� �he names of the o�rrners� the descrip-
tion of the properties� the number of front �eet thereof, and the a�nount
of special tax levied against e�ch particular lot� tract and parcel of
Iand fronting and abutting on said port�on of said s�reet being as fal-
lows:
