of , 19�6, the roadway of that portion of Lorimier Street in the
City o, Cape Gira.rdeau, I�issouri, from the north edge of the existing
paveme�.t �n Marga Oak Street to the north edge of fae existing p�.vement
approximately .5 �4 feet nerth of the north line of Belle�ue Street
was ordered repaired and resurfaced by bringing the existing asphaltic
su.rf?.cQ af said s�reet ta an even grade by patching and filling depres-

and covering the entire surface of said street� after it h�.d been so
patched and brought to an even grade, with a doubl.e seal coat applied in
twQ courses� each course composed of .3 gallons per square yard of 150 to
300 penetration asphalt covered and blotted with 25 pounds per sr�uare
yard of stone chips� and
�d'riEREA5 , said work h�� been done under contract by the Asphalt Pro-
ducts Corporation of Cape �'rirardeau� Missouri, under the direction and
supervision of the City Engineer, and
WHEREAS , John fi. �Vaith�r� City Engineer na� heretofore filed his re-
report showing the total cost of repairing and resurfacing said portion
of said street to be �4�262.82� the total number of linear feet of proper-
ty fronting and abutting thereon to be 7104.7 feet, and the cost per frant
foot to be 60¢ , and shawing the proportion�te share of such total cost
eriargeable against eact lot� tr�.ct and parcel of land fronting and abutting
on said portion of said street, and
Y�iEREAS , said report has been examined by the City Council and fo�and
to be in proper form� and the Council finds that the total cast of said
repairing and resurfac�.ng does not exceed 60¢ per front foot an all of the
p��p�rty frcartirg and abutting on said portion of said street. 1VOW THEREFOt�E
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CGUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI? AS FOLLOV�S:
5ECTIGN 1. That the report of John R. M�alther, City Engineer� cover-
ing the repairing and resurfacing of tha.t portion of Lorimier 5treet from
the edge of the existing concrete pavement on Morgan Cak St_r_:=� -�� to the
north line of the existing pavement approximately �� �eet north of the
north line of Bellevue Street, be and the same is hereby accepted, approv-
ed and ordered filed.
SECTION 2. That the �ity Council finds said report ts be correct� and
further finds tY�at the total cost�to the a�utting property owners, of the re-
pairing and resurfacing of said p�rtion of s��d Lorimier Street does not ex-
ceed 60¢ per front foot on the praperty fronting and abUtting an sai.d por-
tion of said street.
SECTION 3. A sgecial tax is hereby levied and assessed against all
of the property fronting and �butting on said portion of said street in a
sum equal to 60¢ per front foot. The names of the owners, the description
of the properties� the number of fron� feet thereof and the �.mount of spe-
cial tax levied against each par�i�t}lar lot� tract a_rYu parcel of land front-
ing and abutting on said portion of said street being as follo�as:
