AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR �IEETINGS OF THE CAFE
GIRARDEAU BOARD OF ADJUSTPJIII�S � AND FOR T HE PAY-
MENT OF FEE'S FOR APr EALS TO SUCH BOARD.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CI�PE GIRARDEAU,
b�ISaQURI� AS FOLLO:'JS:
SECTI`�N 1 From and after the effective date of th�_s Ordinance,
it shall be necessary for any person, or persons� desiring to appeal
from the ruling of the City Engineer� or City Attorney, to the Board
of Ad3ustment to deposit with their request �or such appe�l the sum
of Fifteen ($�5.00) Dollars, and no appeal shall hereafter be he��d by
such Board of Ad�ustment until and unless su ch deposit has been ruade.
SECTI�N 2. Tr�e moneys received from the payment of appeal fees�
as above provided, shall be kept in a. special fund and used for the
payment o� the cost of advertising, na�ice of hearings, and other ex-
penses thereof� and fer the payment of fees to the members of such
Board, and the secretary thereof.
SECTICN 3. 'T��e members of the Board of Ad�ustment� and the secre-
tary of such Board, shall be entitled to receivet�frcm the fund provided
for in the preceding section, the sum of $:�• �� for eaeh meeting
of such Board at which such members and secretary attend� �ovided that
nothing herein shall require or authorize the payment of such fees from
the general revenue funds of the City� or from any other sou�ce� except
the special fund herein above created.
SECTION 4. Hereafter it shall not be necessary that said Board
o f Ad�ustments meet on c��ld o� schedule hearings upon any anpea]�s
pending more fre�uently than���4�ach month. The time of such m nt�i-
ly hea�ing meetings to be determi.ned by the Board of Ad�ustment� by a
ma�ority vote of �the members thereof.
SECTI�"`N 5. All ordinances and parts of �rdinances in conflict wtih
the provisions hereof� are hereby repealed. �his ordinance shall take
effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval.
