�! SECTIO�T 5��. Upon �he cc��pletion af s�id y�ork the City
j Enoineer shall r��ort to the Gout�cil the tatal cost of aaid re-
p airing and resurf�cing of said part,ian of said street, the
tota.l nuraber of linear fret of property frontin�; and abutting
thereon, and. the proportidna_te share of such tota.l cost charg�-
a.ble aga,inst eacY� lot, traGt or �axcel of la.nd frontin� a.nd
�:�aut�tii�� on said �ortion of said street ir� �ccoxcla.nce i��ith tr�e

3�CTION 6. Upon the filing of such re;�ort by tb.e City
Engineer the City Council snall examine the same and if said
report be found to be correc't and the tot�l cost of said re-
�airing and re-surfacin� does not exceed sixty (G0�) c�nts per
` frant foot upon al� of the property frontin� and abuttin� upon
s�id �ortion of said street, the Council. shall levy and assess
a special tax against said ;oro�erty in a.ccordance ��ritr sz�id report.

S�CTION 7. This Ordinance shall take effect� and be in
fi'orce f:roui and after its �assage.
