1+VHEREAS, by Corn�nission Form Ordinance ido. 9oZ` , passed
and approved by the City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Nlissouri, on the /� day of , 1941, the City Council
ordered repaired, resurfaced and improved that part of Illinois
�venue �.nd New T�adrid Streets in the City of Cape Girardeau, T,Tiss-
ouri, described as folloti�s:
Illinois _4venue from the edge of the e�isting
concrete pavement (,� the North line of Dunklin Street
to New ivTadrid Street, tnence on New NTadrid Street from
I1linois l�venue to the east edge of the present con-
crete pavement on Vuest End Boulev�.rd,
� the same being within District No. 2 of the City of Cape Girardeau,
I:Iissouri, as laid out and designated by Commission "�ior:� Ordinance
No. g00 passed and approved on the 23rd day of July, 1937, by bringing
the present gr�.vel base to grade and adding crushed stone where neces-
sary so as to provide a finished base of not less than four inches
(l�t1) of crusned stone, and constructing and laying thereon a standard
t�o course penetration asphaltic concrete pavement not Iess than
one and a ha.lf inch (12��) in thickness and tv��enty feet (20� ) wide, all
to be done as directed by the CitSJ Engineer, and
ddHEREAS, said Jonn R. 9Talther h�s heretofore f iled his
report showing the total cost of repairing, resurfacing and improving
said portion of said street to be ��77.62; the total number of linear
ieet fronting and abutting thereon to be 1462.7 feet, und the cost
� per i'ront foot to be sixty cents (60¢) , �.nd shoVring the �roportionate
share of such tot�.l cost enargeable against each lot, tract and parcel
of land fronting and abutting on said portion of said street, and
