707, PASSED AND APPROVED ON THE 5TH DAY OF OCTOBER,
1935, AND TO ENkCT IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW ORDIN.4NCE
SUB-DIVIDING THE TERRITORY F�AdBRACED WITHIN THE CITY
OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI INTO T�h►ELVE SEFNER DISTRICTS

WHEREAS, What is now Section 7018 to Section 7035, R. S. Ddissouri
1939 has been adopted by more than two-thirds of the qualified voters
of the City of Cape Girardeau, voting at a special election regularly
held for the purpose of submitting said sections, as the same appeared
in the Revised Statutes of Missouri for 1919, to the qualified voters
of Gape Girarcieau, Missouri, and that the said sections are now in
� force and constitute the Sewer Charter of Cape Gi�ardeau, Missouri; and

WHEREAS, the territory embraced within the boundaries of the City
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri has heretofore been subdivided into sewer
� districts, and sewer systems have been built �vithin some of said ca.stricts
�
thus created; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to proceed in the
� construction of said sewerage systems in other portions of said City,
and is of the opinion that the territory lying within said City and
not included in districts where sewers have already been constructed
i should be re-divided in order that se�vers may now be constructed in a
part of such territory where sewers are necessary,

� tory now embraced in the boundaries of the City of Cape Girardeau in
such a way as to leave intact those sewer districts where sewers have
already been constructed and to modify and change the boundaries of
