TO COb�PLETE THE IB(1PROV£�MENT OF THAT PART OF ��'EST END BOUL� VARD
FROM THE EDGE OF TFiE CON�RLTE FAVE�EI�'T AT THENORTH LINE OF
NORBdAL AVENT7E TO THE II�TT�RSECTION t�ITH THE CENTER LINE OF AN =
ALLEY BETV!1EEN ROSE STREET AND FEi�ISCOT STREET.
- V�7HEREAS, by his contrdct duly authoriged by ordinance with '
the City of Cai�e Girarc�eau, B�issouri, E. L. �arkham a�;reed
to improye �+zthin sixty days according to the terms in said
_ cor.tr�ct �hat part of West End Boulev�rd from theedge of the
concrete pavement at the north line of Normal Avenu� to the �
- intersection w�_th tYie center line of an al.�ey bet�veen Rose and
Pemiscot Streets which expired on the 25th day of June, 1935,
and s
WHEREAS, an extension of time of sixty days v�as �ranted on
, the 17th d_:yo uf June which extensic�n is about nov� to expire
and

�dHEREAS, owing to unfavorable weather conditions and rainfall
which have impeded �;he work of improvin� said street, which :
� conditions have been beyond control of said contractor, said �
improvement has been necessarily delayed, and
WHEREAS, said contractor has rec�uested that the Council grant '
� him an additional extension of time for the performance of said
c���ntract to improve said street, N0�4' THEREFORE
BE IT OnDl��NED BY THE CQUl`bCIL OF THE CITY OF C�iFE GIRARDEAU, �
�IISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
� S�CTION l. It is hereby ordered that E. L. �darkham, Contractor �
for the improvement of that part of West End Boulevard from the �'
edge of the concrete pavement at the north line of Normal Avenue :�
to the intersection with the center line of an alley between
Rose and Pemiscot Streets be given an additional extension of '
sixty (60) days within which to complete his contract with the
City for said improvement.
SECTION 2 . This ordinance shall be in force ana shall take ef- �
fF;ct from and after its passage.
