' �YHEREAS, by his contract, duly authori��ed by ordinanoe , with ; the City oP Cape Girardeau, Missouri , E. L. Markham �qr�ed to ; improve, within sixty days, according to the terms in said contract, � that part of �Jest End Boulevard Prom the edge of the concrete ,� pavement at the north line of Normal Avenue to the intersection i with the center line oP an alley between Rose Street and Femiscot � Street, which is now about to expire , and, �yHER�;�; owing to unfavorabie �reather conditions and rainfall, � which have impeded the work oQ grading said street, which conditions have been beyond tl�e control of said contractor, said improvement ' has been necessarily delayed, and, � �`dHEREAS, said contractor has re�uested that the Council grant ? him an extension of time for the perPormance of said contract to � improve said street , NOVJ T�-�REFORE, :i BE IT 0£�DAINED BY TI� COUNCIL OF TFiE C ITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, � MIS�OURI, A5 FOLLOi�S: � � , SECTION 1. It is her eby ordered that E. L.
