ARE NOT BUILD IN ACCORDANCE �iITH SUCH NOTICE.
BE IT ORDAIN�D BY THE COUNCIL OF THr� CITY OF CAPE GIRAR-
DEAU, �ISSOUI�I, AS FOLLOVuS:
SECTION l. The Council hereby requires the ov�mers of
the lots hereinafter described, located in the Ci�y of Cape Girar-
deau, Missouri, to build and construct, or rebuild or reconstruct
or repair, on the streets hereinafter designated, sidewalks lying
along and adjacent ta their real estat2 herein described, and fur-
ther requires such ovaners to grade, fill or Qark that portion of
the street l�rin� betv�een the property Iine and the street curb
line, and to build appro�ches where required, in accordance with
the prov�sions hereinafter contained relating to the sidewalks to
be constructed along their resPective pieces of property.
SECTIQN 2, It is hereby ordered and di rected that the
City Clerk prepare and cause to be served on the respective ov��ners
of property along which such sidev�Talks are to be built, construct-
= ed or repaired, notice of the order herein maae, which notice
� si1a.11 be served in accordance with the provisions of Commission Forra
�` Ordinance No. 505, passed and approved on tne 17th day of October,
19 27. ;

SECTION 3. The Council hereby further orders and directs
that the respective owners of the lands alona which such improve-
ments are to be made do the work required by tnis ordinance in ac-
�ordance w-ith the provisions of said Commission Form Ordinance No.
505, passed and approved on the 17th day of October, 1927, and in
accordance with t-�e provisions of this ordinance. It is further or-
dered that said ovv�zers pay the cost of constructing said improve-
ments in accordance with the �rovisions of said Commission Form Or-
�.inance No. 505 and that they report the construction thereof to !
the City Engineer.
SECTION 4. It is further ordered that if any person sha11
fail, refuse or neglect to do the work herein required, within th�
time allov�red by said notice, the Council then Provide for the makinb
of said improvem�n�s in accordance ��Tith the further provisions of
said Comr�issian Form Ordinance No. 505. Said property owners who
fail and refuse to make the improvements herein reuuired shall be
subject to the penalty ��roviued for iiz said Co��:issio� For� prdin-
anc e N o. 505. �
SECTION 5. The improvement hereby re�uired consists of
�ror k to be done in building and construeting, rebuilding, reconstruct- :
ing or repairing sidewalks and grading, filling and parking bet�reen `'
property line and the curb line, and building approacnes where re-
quired on the streets ar� adjacent to the property of the persons all
named, designated and described as follows:

SECTTON 6. The notice herein required ta be served upon
each property owner affected by this ordinance, shall be in sub-
stantially the follovvin�; f'orm:

struct sidewalks along and ad�acent to your

City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, anc� do the °�
necessar;� grading, filling and parking and
building approaches necessary for tlze construc-
tion thereof, whicn real estate is described as
follovrs, to-�vit:

Said work sha11 be don e in accordance with
the provisions of Commission Form Ordinance No.
505, passed and approved on the 17th day of Oc-
tober, 1927, regulating the general construction
of sidewalks, and in conformity with Commission
Form Ordinance No. , passed and approved on ,
the day of , 1929, ordering
such work to be done, and in conformity with the
Standard Plans and Specifications for the con-
structi.on of' sidewalks in this city, on file in
the office of the City Clerk. You are hereby fur-
ther notif i ed tha.t tti� �ouncil requires that this
improvement be done within twenty (20} days from
the date of service of this notice, and if same is
not done as herein provided, you will be sub�ect
to the penalties provided for in said Commission
Form Ordinance No. 505. The �ity �ngineer will �
furnish you the line and grade to which such side-
walks are to be constructed, at any time you de-
sire same in carryin� out the provisions of this
notice.

iormity with the provisions of said Commission Form

SECTION 7. All ordinances or parts o.f orctinances in co�-
fliet with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 8. This ordinance shall be in full force and ef-
fect from and after its passage.
