WHEftFAS, The City of Cape Girardeau, by its Council, on the 15th
da�� of Au�ust, 1922, adopted a Resolu�ion declarir..� it r.eces::ary to
irnpxove that part of Good ��ope Street fror� Spri�g Street to Pacific
Street, as set out in ti��e title hereof, and,
d"VHHII-�EAS, By virtue of tr:e aut';lority of Cor.�rni;sion Form Ordinance
�To. 158, passed and approved on the 5t'rl day of Septemuer, �922, the
Council d�clared said iraprove;,�ent to be necessary and directed the City
Clerk to advertise for bids for said work, and,

part of Gvod Hope Street iro�� Spri��; Street to Pacific Street, accord-
in� to the plans and specificati�r,s of the c;ity En�ineer, and for the
price and sum set forth in his proposal and contract to accept in pay-
ment therefor, Special Tax �3ills , to be issued by the �ity of Cape Gir-
ardeau, in nis favor as contractor a� provided for by Comraission Foxm
Or�inance r?o. 50 and Corr�aission Form Ordinance 1?0. 158, and,

faitizful pexformance of his coi1tract for the improvenent of said street,
