BURVEY 2199, IN THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDE�U, MISSOURI,
FROM 1 �L19�SS � ONE-FAMTLY DISTRICT TO � CL�SS G
BIISINESS DISTRICT.
WHERE�S� the �City Council of the City of �ape Girardeau,
Missouri, has received an application from the awner of the
hereinafter described property requssting that the zoning of the
same be changed from a Class A One-Family District to a Class G
Business District in an area described as follows :
Al1 of Lots One, Two� Three, Four, Five and Six,
Block Two, of Wulfers� Subdivision, a part of Lots One
and Two of Margaret Walkert� 5ubdivision, in Qut Lots
60 and �0, U.S.P. Survey 2199, in the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri;
and
WHEREIlS, public notice of such application for such change
was given as was provided by �ommission Form Ordinance No. 566 and
a public hearing was held by the �ity Cvuncil on October 10� 1955;
and
WHERElS, said application has been submitted to the City
Planning and Zoning �ommission for its recommendation and report
and said City Planning and Zoning Commission reported and
recommended that said property be rezoned in accordance with sa'id
application; and
WHEREAS, no property owners oWning property adjacent or near
to the property included within such propoaed change have protested
such change; and
WHERE.�iS, tne City Council finds that it would be to the
best interest of all property owners concerned for said property
to be rezoned from a Class � One-Family District to a Class G
Business District, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORD,�INED BY THE CITY COUN�IL OF THE CITY OF C.&FE
GIRARDE�iU, MI550URI, AS FOLLOWS :
aE�TION 1 : That Section 2 of �ommission FOI'TC1 Ordinance
5b6, passed and approved on the 25th day of April, 1949, shall
be� and the same is hereby, amended to change the boundary of
the present �C1ass G Business District so as to include therein
the hereinafter described property, which said property is
hereby rezoned from � �lass �1 One-Family Diatrict to a Class G
Business District, to-wit:

B1oek Two, of Wulfers� �ubdivision, a part of Lots One
and Two of Margaret Walkerts Subdivision, in Out Lots
60 and 80, U.S.P. Survey 2199, in the �it� of Cape
Girardeau� Missouri.
SE�TION 2: The City Council hereby declares that the
property described in Section 1 above is at the present particularly
suited for the uses and purposes of a �lass G Business District
and that the changes authorized hereby are reasonable and in
reasonable caiformity with the existing use and value of the
immediately surrounding property.
SE�TION 3s �11 ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions hereof are hereby repealed� but s11
other provisiona of �omm3ssion Form Ordinance No. 566 not amended
or repealed hereby shall remain in full foree and effect.
ST+�TION 4: This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after ten (10) days after its p�ssage and approvaL
