AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CREATION OF "NO PARKING"
ZONES ALONG AND ON A PART OF SOUTH PACIFI�G STREET
AND ALONG AND ON A PART OF BLOOMFIELD STREET, AND
ALONG AND ON A PART OF HARNIONY STftEET, IN THE CITY
OF �CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AND PROHIBITING THE
PARKING OF VEHICLES IN 5UCH DESIGNATED ZONES AND
PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GTRARDEAU, MISSOURI , AS FOZLOWSc
SECTION l: That the Police Department shall be, and it
hereby is� authorized and directed to designate by paintin� lanes,
signs, or other appropriate means, "No Parking," zones or spaces
at the curb, at the following� places, to-wit:
On the east side of South Pacific Street from
Morgan Oak Street to the north curb line of
Bloomfield Street as extended;
. On the south side of Bloomfield Street from
South Pacific Street for a distance of 100
feet west from South Pacific Street; and
On the south side of Harmony Street from West
End Boulevard to an a11ey running north and
south between West End Boulevard and Park
Avenue.
SECTION 2 : From and after the effective date of this
ordinance it shall be..unlawful for any person to stop or park in
any of the aforesaid "No Parking�" zones.
SECTION 3: Any person who shall violate any of the terms
and provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a mis-
demeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not
less than One Dollar (�1.00) nor more than One Hundred Dollars
(�100.00) .
SECTION 1�: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
� conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5 : This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force ten (10) days after its passage and approval.
