N0. 1219 PASSED AND 9PPROVED ON OCTOBER k� 1949,
BY AMENDING CERT.�IN SECTIONS THEREOF; AND
AMEIdDING COMMISSION F08M ORDINANCE N0. 1407
PASSED AND gPPROVED ON OCTOBER 10� 1952, BY
AMENDTNG GERTAIN SECTIONS THEREOF.

SECTION 1: That Section 2 of Commission Form Ordinance
No. 1219 passed and approved on the 4th day of October, 191�9, as
, am�nded by Commission Form Ordinance No. 1407 passed and approved
on the lOth day of October, 1952, shall be and the same hereby is
amended by adding� the words '�of a resident of the City of Cape
Girardeau and Two Dollars (�2.00) each for each examination of a
non-resident of the City of Cape Girardeau," imm.ediately after
the words: "Said members shall receive One Dollar (�1.00) each
for each examination," in the third parag�raph of said Commission
Form Ordinance No. 1219� as amended� so that said paragraph as
amended shall remd as f ollows:

of Cape Girardeau and Two Dollars (�2.00) each for �
each examination of a non-resident of the City of
Cape Girardeau conducted by them."
� SECTION 2: That Section !� of Commission Form Ordinance
No. 1219 passed and approved on October 4� 1949, shall be and
the same herebp 3.s amended by striking out the words mnd figures
"Twenty-five Dollars (�25 .00)" and inserting� in lieu thereof the
words and fig�ures nFifty Dollars (�50.00) ;" and by striking� out
the words and fig�ures "Three Dollars (�3.00)" and inserting in
lieu thereof the words and fig�ures "Five Dollars (�5 .00) ."
SECTION 3; That Section 9 of Commission Form Ordinance
No. 1219 passed and approved on October 4, 1949, as amended by
Commission Form Ordinance No. 1407 passed and approved on October 10,
1952, shall be and the same hereby is amended by adding the words
"which said bond shall be executed by a surety company licensed
to do business in Missouri and shall" to line 4 of said Section 9�
immediately following� the words "�ne Thousand (�1,000.00) Dollars; "
and by strikin out the word "to" immediately following the words
"One Thousancl ��1�000.00) Dollars" in the 4th line of said
Section 9,
SECTION 4; That Section 10 of Commission Form Ordinance
ATo. 1219 passed and approved on October !�� 1949, as am�ended by
�ommission Form Ordinance No. 1407 passed and approved on
October 10� 1952, shall be and the same hereby is amended by
striking� out the words "or journeyman" in the first line of said
Section 10, and by adding the worfl "or" between the words
"corporation" and "master" 3n the first line of said Section 10.

SECTION 5: That Section 3 of Commission Form Ordinance
No. 1407 passed and approved on October 10, 195z� which said
Section 3 of Commission Form Ord3nance No . 1407 amends Section 2
of Commission Form Ordinance No. 1219 by adding a new parag�raph
thereto� sha11 be and the same hereby is amended by striking� out
the first sentence of said amendment to Section 2 of Commission
Form Ordinance No. 1219� and inserting in lieu thereof a new
sen�ence to read as follo�s:
"Each applicant for a certificate hereunder�
who is a resident of the Cit� of Cape Girardeau�
Missouri, shall deposit �ith his application the
sum of Five Dollars ($5 .00)� and each applicant for
a certificate hereunder� who is not a resident of
the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, shall deposit
with h3s appl3cation the sum of Fifteen Dollars
(�15 .00) ."
SECTION 6: That Section 7 of Commission Form Ordinance
No. 1407 passed and approved on October 10� 1952, which said
Section 7 amends Section 10 of Commission Form Ordinance No. 1219
by adding to the first parag�raph of Section 10 of Commission
Form Ordinance No. 1219� sha11 be and the same hereby is a.mended
by adding the words: "Permits shall be issued only to an awner
or a master plumber and" immediately before the first line of
the words added by said Sect3on 7 of Commiss3on Form Ordinance
No . 1l�07 to Section 10 of Commission Form Ordinance No. 1219,
so that said Section 7 of Commission Form Ordinance No. 1407,
as amended, shall read as follows:
"Section 7: Section ten (10) of said Commission
Form Ordinance No. 1219 shall be and the same is
hereby amended by adding� to the first paragraph of
sa3d aection the following• words:
. =Permits shall be issued only to an
owner or a master plumber and no permit
sha11 be issued which does not affirma-
tively show that the work thereunder sha11
be done by the owner of the premises des-
cribed or by or under the supervision of
a reg�istered and licensed ma�er pltimber or
journeyman plumber. All such permits so
issued shall be posted on the premises
where such work is to be performed before
such work ia commenced and displayed in
a prominent and conspicuous place on said
premises� and shall remain so posted and
displayed continuously until such work
is completed and has received final inspection
and approval by the plumbing 3nspector. �"
SECTION g; All remaining� portions of Commission Form
Ordinance No . 1219 not repealed hereby or amended hereby are
hereby reaffirmed and shall continue in full force and effect,
and �11 remaining� portions of Commission Form Ordinance
No. 1407 not repealed hereby or amended hereby are herebg
reaffirmed and shall continue in full force and effect.
SECTION 9: This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after ten (10) days following� its passage and
approval.
