SLCTIOivT 2. The work to be done shall consist of shapin� the existing gravel
surface to the proper grade and contour with the addition of gravel or
crushed stone if necessary; constructin� a Bituminous Niat Surface or Penetrat-
ion Asphalt Surface, havin� a rnini.rnum i,ri.dth of approxixnately 11 feet and
a thickness of approximately 2 inches.
SLCTIOId 3. S�.id repairin� �.nd resurfacing of said street shall 'pe done by
the Departr.lent of i'ublic ,?ol�ks of tr�e Cit�- of Cape Girardeau, l�iissouri,
under the direction and supervision of the Cit;� IIz;ineer, so tiiat the cost
of such repairin�; �.nd resurfacing siiall not exceed an ar��wluit ec,ual to
sixty (00) cants per front foot of property fronting a.nd abuttino on said
�ortion of said street so i::iproved.

S�CTIOTd 5. Upon the conr�letion of said tirorl: the said City T�,n�ineer sl�all
re��ort to the Coi;ncil the total cost of s��.id repairing and resurfacing of
said portion of said street, tlze tota]_ nur�iber of linear feet of l�roperty
frontin� ancl abuttin,, thereon, and the proportionate share of' such total
cost chargeable a`�ainst each lot, tract, a�zd parcel oi la,nci frontin� and
abuttin� on said portion of said street, in accordance with the �rovisions
of ��his ordinance. �
SEC�I�i� 6. Upon tize _filin" of such renort b�T the City :�n�ineer, the City
Council shal�_ el:�::�ine the sane, and if s�.id re��ort be found correct, and the
total cos�� oi' said re�aira.n� a�id re�urfacin� does not e�ceed 50 cents ner
front foot o.z all of the ��ro�ert�r frontin� a��d abut�in� u,�on the said portion
of suid street, the Cot�ncil shall levy aizd assess a special tat, a�ainst said
pro7ert� in accordance z�rith said report, Said ta:, bills shall be sold for
not less than their f�.ce v�,ll�e, a��d assi�ned b;� the City Clcrk to any
��urchaser or �urchasers -chereof.
SLC`�IOTd 7. all ordinances or �ar-ts oi ordinances in conzlict with the provis-
ions hereof are here'a�r repealed.
