SEC`rIUrd 1 . 'i�hat �ection three ( 3) of Commission Form
Ordin��nce �.o. 1180 passed ar�d cpproved on the 6th da�r of
December, 1�48, be� and the s��me is hereby repealed �nd a new
section is hereby enacted in lieu thereof, such new section
to be known �s Section three (3) �nd to re�d as follows:
Section 3 . Every person now or hereafter
enqaged in the business of supplying telephone
service for compensrtio�-� in the City of Ca.pe
Girardeau, i���issouri from �nd �fter the 20th day
of J�nuary, 1953, shall p�y to the CitV of C3pe
Girrrde�u, T�:issouri, � s a license t�-x, a sum equ�l to
five per cent ( 5'�0) of the gross receipts fron�
such business.

lector of� the City of Crpe Girardeau on the 20th
d�y of JJnu�yy Cn� July oi each year rn rmount
equal to five per cent (5�0) of such person's gross
receipts from such business for the preceding six
(6 ) calend�r months. Th��t the first p�yment under
this Ordin�nce shall t�ke pl�ce on the 20th d^y of
July, 1G53, �nd on e�ch January 20th �nd July 20th
there��fter.
