S�1'REET FROM THE CENTER LINE OF' HENkY STRLET TO TI�E CEI�TER LINE
OF COLLEGE STREET.
WNE:ttEAS , by a contract duly authorized by ordinance, Central
Materi�l5 Corporation, agreed with the �ity of Cape Girardeau,
l�lissouri to improve within ninety (9U) days from July 2�, 1g5�.,
according to the terms of said contract, that part of Louis
StrEet from the center line of Henry Str�et to the �enter line
of �ollege Street, and
_ WHEHP�AS, due to the dif'ficulty incurred by adverse we�.ther, which
condition has been beyond the control of the contraetor, the com-
pletion of said improvement has been delayed beyond the time
granted by said contract, and
WHEPtiEAS, the saicl contractor has requested that the �ity Council
gr�.nt an extension of time for the perform2nce of the said contract
to complete the improvement of s�.id street, idOj�i' THEREFORE;,
B� ZT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF �'i�tE CITY OF' CAPE GIRAhDEAU,
�fISSOURI, AS FOLLO�iS;
SECT�ION l. That Centra.l l�ateriais Corporation, contr�,ctor for
the improvement of Louis Street f'rom the center line of genry
Street to the center line or College Street, is hereby granted an
extension of thirty (30) days from the 2gth da.y of October, 1954,
within which to complete its contra.ct with the City for said im-
provements .
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in confliet
witri the p.rovisions hereof are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3 . This oa�dinance shall ta.ke effect a.nd be in force
from and after its pass�.ge and approv�l .
