t:ie boundaries of�ewer District i�o. 12-F, heretofore es�;aulisaied.
S�:CTIUI� 2. Tha.t the plans for constructin� a system of sa.nitar3� lateral
sew�rs in Sewer District I;o. 12-�1, above described, and previously subr:,itted
to ��he Council, are hereby adopted as the plans for the construction oi' said
se:�rer system in Sez�rer Uistrict i:o. 12-�l, and are b�r the Couricil ordered filed
in �he office o.f the City Clerk of the Gity of Cape Girardeau, I�_:issouri.
Z'hat the specifications for sani.t�,.ry trunk sevrers in Sewer District ;�o.
12-F, heretofore �,pnroved b�r L�G Council, �a��d now on file :�.n the of:�ice or the
City Clerk, shall be the specifications to govern the cons�tructiori of sar.itar�r
se�rers in Sewer District ;�o. 12-�l.
Si;CTlUaJ 3. Tha�t the owners of propertSr in Sewer ;Jistrict �.o. 12-E-1,
having secured a bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers in said district,
i'ror:i a responsible contractor, w'rlo snall aaree to enter into a contract with bond
satisfactory to the Gouncil, in whicii said co:�tractor sizall agree to perform the
T�rork of �he construction iri accordance with the plans and specifications, under
the supervision of the �ity ;:;n�;ineer, ancl to pay to the Cit;,r of C�.pe ��irardeau,
',�issouri, folloz,ri:�i� zhe completion and acceptance of the work b�,r the Cit;r, tYie
cos�� of en�irieerin; and inspection, shail be pern�ttec? to proceed v,r.i.th the construct-
ion o�' said sewer sJ-si:em, after havin:� first;�ive.,� satis:Cactory evide:Zce that the
entire cos� oi the work abo�r� descriQed by the above tiTill be paid by thet�i to the

provide li�,;hts, barricades and other r�eans to protect persons anci property i rom
in�ury and da:aa��e on account oz sa.id wr�rk, un�til the coi�ipletion and accentance
tihereof by the �ity, and sha11 inder.�nifsr the Ci�,y of Cape Csira.rdeau, P�lissouri,
a�a.inst anir and all losses by reason of th� violation of �this or an�r o�her require-
ments o� this ordinance.
a:�CTIOP+T 5. That the Citf of Cape �irardeau shall in no event, nor in a.ny
�;anrier whatever, oc; liable for or on account of the ��or:� done in the construction
of said sewer, nor shall the contractor be paid an;yT part of the cost of the
woik until satisfac�or;y eviderice has be�n furnished the Cit;;r th��,t a:�l bills for
��aterial, equiµoment and labor have been paid by the co�itractor.
