AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 26. 03 OF THE
GENERAL ORDINANCES OF CAPE GIRARDEAU RELATING TO
FIRE LIMITS BY INCLUDING ADDITIONAL AREA IN THE
ESTABLISHED FIRE LIMITS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU ,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . Section 26. 03 of the General OrdinanceSof Cape
Girardeau relating to fire limits is hereby amended to include within
the established fire limits the following-described land, to-wit :
A parcel of land located in Outlots 56 and 57 , U . S. P.
Survey 2199 , City of Cape Girardeau , Missouri , described
as follows : Start at the southeast corner of Block 2
of Hathaway ' s Subdivision of a part of Outlot 87 , U . S . P.
Survey 2199 , said corner being rn the line between Outlots
57 and 87 in said Survey and is South 6° 44 ` West , 1097. 1
feet from the northwest corner of said Outlot 57 ; thence
South 6° 44 ' West 56. 0 feet to an intersection of the west
line of Outlot 57 with the south line of Good Hope Street
for a beginning corner ; thence North 84° 24 ' West 497. 9 feet
to a corner on the East right-of-way line of U. S . Rt. 61 ;
thence South 6° 44 ' West to the center of Cape LaCroix Creek
for a corner ; thence in a Southeasterly direction along the
center line of the creek to the rorth line of Bloomfield
Road for a corner ; thence North 70° 16 ' East along Bloomfield
Road 397 feet to a corner ; thence North 6° 44 ' East , 777
feet to the beginning corner .
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten
days after its passage and approval .
