AN ORDINANCE GRANTING AN EXTENSION OF TIME TO
JAMES STOVALL D�B�A SUPERIOR CONCRETORS , TO
COMPLETE IMPROVEMENT OF THAT PART OF EAST RODNEY
DRIVE FROM U . S . HIGHWAY 61 TO WEST RODNEY DRIVE
WHEREAS , by contract duly authorized by ordinance James Stovall ,
d�b�a Superior Concretors agreed with the City of Cape Girardeau ,
Missouri to improve that part of East Rodney Drive from U . S . Highway
61 to West Rodney Drive and to complete said improvement within one
hundred twenty days , and
WHEREAS , due to the inabitity to work on account of weather
conditions and other city work , and
WHEREAS , said contractor has requested the City Council to
grant him an additional thirty days within which to complete said
improvement , now therefore ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU ,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
Section l . That James Stovall , d�b�a Superior Concretors , con—
tractor for the improvement of East Rodney Drive from U . S . Highway
61 to W �t Rodney Drive , is hereby given an extension of time until
August �' , 1963 within which to complete said improvement with the
city.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
ten days after its passage and approval .
Passed and approved this 8th day of July, 1963 .
