� AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 OF THE GENERAL
ORDINANCES OF CAPE GIRARDEAU BY CHANGING THE
ZONING OF SOUTH 80. 1 FEET OF LOT 22 AND ALL OF
LOTS 23 AND 24 , RANGE "F " TO CLASS "F " COMMERCIAL .
WHEREAS , the City Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended
that all the property described in Section 1 of this ordinance should
be rezoned Class "F " , Commercial District , and
WHEREAS , public notice of such proposed change in zoning was
given as prescribed by Chapter 25 of the General Ordinances of Cape
Girardeau and public hearing was held , in conformity with such notice ,
by the City Council on the 27th day of May , 1963 . Now therefore ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU ,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
Section l . Chapter 25 of the General Ordinances of Cape Girardeau
is hereby amended to change the boundary of the present Class "F " ,
Commercial District , so as to include the hereinafter described property :
The south 80 . 1 feet of Lot 22 and all of Lots 23 and 24 ,
Range "F " of the City of Cape Girardeau , fronting 319 . 1
feet on the east line of Fredrick Street by a dept�
eastwardly, between parallel lines , of 180 feet along
the north line of Bellevue Street to a 16-foot public
alley.
Section 2. The City Council hereby finds and declares that the
property described in Section 1 hereof is at the present time particu-
larly suited for the uses and purposes of Class "F " , Commercial District ,
and that such change authorized hereby i� reasonable and in reasonable
conformity with the existing uses and value of the immediately surround-
ing property.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten
days after its passage and approval .
