AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A QliIT CLAIi�t DEED EXECUTED
BY THE CAPE GIRARDEAU CHAMBER OF COMMERCE; CON—
TAINING AN EMERGENCY CLAUSE .
WHEREAS , it has become necessary to improve the sewerage system
of the City of Cape Girardeau , Missouri , by, among other things ,
constructing a sewage disposal plant , and the qualified electors
of said City on July 11 , 1961 approved the issuance of bonds for said
purpose , and
WHEREAS , it has become necessary to acquire a site for said sewage
disposal plant and for purposes in connection therewith , and
WHEREAS , the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce on January 19 , 1963
executed a quit claim deed to convey to the said City certain rights
of the said Chamber of Commerce in and to Part of Out Lot 65 U . S . P .
Survey 2199 , now therefore ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU ,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
Section l . A certain quit claim deed dated January 19 , 7-963
wherein the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce conveys to the City of
Cape Girardeau Part of Out Lot 65 U . S . P. Survey 2199 , subject to a
certain easement in favor of said Chamber of Commerce , is hereby
accepted by said City and ordered to be recorded in the Recorder ' s
Office of Cape Girardeau County , iUlissouri .
Section 2. This ordinance is necessary for the immediate preser—
vation of the public peace , health and safety and shall go into effect
immediately upon its passage and approval .
Passed and approved this 21st day of January , 1963 .
