AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 OF THE GENERAL
ORDINANCES OF CAPE GIRARDEAU BY CHANGING THE ZON-
ING OF LOT 14 �f R. STURDIVANT 'S SUBDXVLSION OF OUT-
LOTS 58, 59, 81 AND PART OF 60 TO CLASS "G" BUSINESS
DIST RICT.
WHEREAS: The City Planning and Zoning Commission has recom-
mended that all tlie property described in Section 1 of this ordinance should be
rezoned to Class "G", Business District; and,
WHEREAS, Public notice of such proposed change in zoning was
given as prescribed by Chapter 25 of the General Ordinances of Cape Girar-
deau and public hearing was held, in conformity with such notice, by the City
Council on the I3th day of April, 1964. NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIR-
ARDEAU, MI5SOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Chapter 25 of the General Ordinances of Cape Girardeau
is hereby amended to cha.nge the boundary of the present Class "G"', Business
District, so as to include the hereinafter described property:
All of Lot No. Fourteen (14) of R. Sturdivant's Sub-
division of Out Lots Nos. Fifty-eight, Fifxy-nine, Eighty-one
and part af Si�rty, said Lot N'o. Fourteen containing Four and
Seventy-eight Hundredths �4. 78) acre s, and being the same
realty acquired from R�bert Sturdiva.nt by Henry L. Hunze
by warranty deed recorded July lst, 1880, in the land records
of said County in B ook 11 at page s 27 9 and 280, located in
the City and County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Subject to conveyance for right-of�way purposes of the west ,+���I,
fifteen (15) feet and the north twenty-five (25) feet of said Lot

Faurteen (14) to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, under �:_� �'°.
T rustee's Deed dated April 13th, 1955. ���� �

Section 2. The City Council hereby finds and declares that the � ' ;_ �,
property described in Section 1 hereof is at the present time particularly � °�'
suited for the uses and purposes of Class "G", Business Diatrict, and that � '�
such change authQrized hereby i� reasonable and in reasonable conformity '
with the existing uses and value of the immediately surr�unding praperty. �
