That a special election shall be and the same is hereby called and ordered to be held in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, on Tuesday, the 18th day of February, 196�+, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of said City the following proposition, to-wit: PROPOSITION Proposition to issue the bonds of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to the amount of One Million, Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($1,250,000) to provide funds for the purpose of equipping and im- proving the municipal airport of said City. SECTION 2. That the Council, in due time prior to the date of the afore- said election, shall appoint four (�+) judges of sa,id special election at each oP said polling places, who sh�,ll receive as compensation for their services $_ �_v� per day, and the 3udges at each polling place shall designate two (2) of their num- ber to act as clerks of election. SECTION 4. That the polling places shall be opened on the day of said election at the hour of six o'clock A.M. and shall rema,in open until the hour of seven o'clock P.M. on said date; and said election shall be conducted and the results thereof canvassed and returned in all respects in accordance with the Laws of the State of Missouri and the ordinances of the City of Cape Girardeau. SECTION 5. That the City Clerk be and is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and cause to be published in The Southeast Missourian, a dai�.y newspaper published and of general circulation in the City of Cape Giraxdeau, Missouri, a notice of said special election, which said notice shall be published for at least three (3) consecutive weeks, the first publication to be made at le�,st twenty-one (21) days before the date of said special election and the last publication to be made within two (2� weeks of the date of said special election.
