CITY MANAGER FORM ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO.,
BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF PART OF OUTLOT 57, IN
TTSP .qTTR_VEY 2199. TO CLASS "F" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, The City Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended
that all of the property described in Section 1 of this ordinance should be re-
zoned to Class "F" Commercial District, and
WHEREAS, Public notice of such change in zoning was given as pre-
scribed by Chapter 25 of the general ordinances of the City of Cape Girardeau,
and public hearing was held in conformity with such notice on October 18th,
1967, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Cape Girardeau has elected to
rezone the property described in Section 2, to Class "F" Commercial District,
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby amended to change the boundary of the present
Class "F" Commercial District so as to include the following described property:
All of that part of Outlot 57 in U. S. P. Survey 2199 in
the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, bounded on the
East by Sheridan Drive, on the North by William Street,
on the West by Plaza Way, and on the South by Good Hope
Street.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby finds and declares that the property
described in Section 1 hereof is at the present time particularly suitable for the
uses and purposes of Class "F" Commercial District, and that such changes
authorized hereby are reasonable and in reasonable conformity with the existing
uses and value of the immediately surrounding properties.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten days

after its passage and approval.

beginning; thence South 890 34* t.�est parallel to the north line of Good
Hope Street 140,58 feet to the center of the original location of Sheri-
dan Drive, thence North with the center of original Sheridan Drive 70.8
feet; thence South 830 45# East 141.5 feet to the West line of reloca-&'-.ed
Sheridan Drive; thence South 00 261 West 54,7 feet to the point of be ---
ginning.
It is m'117 desire to have the above described property re -zoned to
class Commercial. This Lot is located @ 223 South Sheridan
Drive, Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
