AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 5 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES RELATING TO THE SALE OF INTOXICATING
LIQUORS AND NON-INTOXICATING BEER
BE IT ORDAiNED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 5 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Cape Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby amended by the addition thereto
of Section 5-32 (a) as follows:
"5ection 5-32 (a) In the event real estate is annexed to the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and a person or corporation
is operating within such annexed area in accordance with the
authority of the State of Missouri as a manufacturer, distiller,
wholesaler or retailer of alcohol or intoxicating malt liquor or
non-intoxicating beer, such person or corporation shall be
granted � license by the City of Cape Girardeau to continue such
operation provided that said person or corporation meets the
other requirements contained in this chapter. :'
SECTION 2, This ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten
days after its passage and approval.
