AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING QUIT CLAIM DEED FROM
LOUIS C. BLATTNER AND CLARA U. BLATTI'+TER AND
DIR.EC TING T HE GIVING OF C IT Y'S DEED IN EXC HANGE
T HERE FOR
WHEREAS, the City of Cape Girardeau desires to build a road
across real estate owned by Louis C. Blattner and Clara U. Blattner
and obtain by proper deed right of way from the said Louis C. Blattner
and Clara U. Blattner for such road, and all of the parties now desire
to relocate such road, and
WHEREAS, in order to accomplish such relocation it will be
necessary for the City of Cape Girardeau to convey to Louis C. Blattner
and Clara U. Blattner any and all interest of the City in and to the right
of way previously given for such road and for the City to accept the right
of way from Louis C. Blattner and Clara U. Blattner for the new right
of way location,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, as follows:
SECTION 1. The Mayor of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
is hereby directed to Quit Claim to Louis C. Blattner and Clara U, Blattner
certain right of way held by the City of Cape Girardeau for a public road,
deacribed more fully as follows:
A strip of land 70 feet in width, parallel, adjacent to, and 35
feet on each side of the following described centerline:
Beginning at the northwest corner of O. L. 85, Survey 2199,
thence 5. 6° W 3. 9 feet; thence on the arc of a 10° ctirve to
the left 266. 8 feet; thence S. 20° 41' E. 2130. 1 feet; thence on
the arc of a 3° curve to the right 187. 8 feet; thence S. 15° 03'
E. 252, 4 feet to the north line of the Bloomfield Road. Con-
taining 4. 565 acres more or less, being 4, 465 acres in O. L.
85 and 0.10 acres in Survey 3090.
SECTION 2. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby accepts

a �2uit Claim Deed, dated October , 1967, executed by Louis C. Blattner
and Clara U. Blattner, husband and wife, conveying to the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, the following described real estate:
A strip of land for right of way for a public road 70
feet in width, parallel, adjacent to and 35 feet on
either side of the following described centerline:
Beginning at the northwest corner of Out Lot 85, Survey
2199, thence 5outh 6° West 149. 8 feet; thence on the arc
of a 10° curve to the left 244. 5 feet; thence South 18° 27'
East 2, 463. 8 feet to the North line of the Bloomfield Road and
there terminating; containing 4. 59 acres, being 4. 26 acres in
Out Lot 85 and 0. 33 acres in Survey No. 3090;
and it is ordered that said tleed be recorded in the Office of the Recorder
of Deeds of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri,
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten
days after its passage and approval.
