AN ORDINANCE GRANT`ING AN EXTENSION OF TIME TO
JAMES F. STOVALL, D/B/A SUPERIOR CONCRETORS,
TO COMPLETE IMPROVEMENT OF THAT PART OF HOPPER
ROAD FROM U. S. HIGHWAY 61 TO HAWTHORN SCHOOL
WHEREA,S, by contract duly authorized by ordinancc, James F.
Stovall, d/b/a Superior Concretors, agreed with the City of Cape Girardeau,
Miasouri to improve that part of Hopper Road from U. 5. Highway No. 61 to
Hawthorn Schaol, and to complete said improvement an or before August 20th,
1967, and
WHEREAS, due to the inability to work on account of weathcr conditions
and other city work, and
WHEREAS, said contractor has requeated the City Council to grant it

an additional�� days within which to complete said improvement,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, as follows:
SECTION 1. That Jame s F. Stovall, d/b/a Superior Concretor s,
contractor for the improvement of Hopper Road from U. S. Highway No. 61
to Hawthorn School, is hereby given an extension of time until the 19th day of

�Qe#�er, 1967, within which to complete said improvement with the City.
SECTION 2. This ordina.nce shall be in full force and effect ten days
after its pasaage and approval.
