AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY MANAGER FORM ORDINANCE NO.
99 RELATING TO REZOIVING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 25. 23 of the general ordinances of the City of
Cape Girardeau, Missouri, as amended by City Manager Form Ordinance
No, 99 ia further amended by adding 5ection 25. 23 (A), as follows:
"SECTION 25. 23 (A): In the event there are urgent demands
for rezoning during the beginning of the building season in May
and June of each calendar year, and in the opinion of the
majority of the members of the City Council it would be in the
best interests of the City of Cape Girardeau to consider such
applications for rezoning during the first meeting date of May
and June of each year, rather tha.n waiting until the first meeting
date of July as provided for in 5ection 25. 23 as amended by
City Manager Form �rdinance No. 99 , the Council may
consider applications for rezoning on the first regular meeting
date in May and the first regular meeting date of June of each
calendar year, following the procedure provided for rezoning
as set out in 5ection 25. 23 of the general ordinances of the
City of Cape Girardeau as amended by City Manager Form

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
