AN ORDINANCE GRANTING AN EXTENSION OF TIME TO SUPERIOR CONCRETORS
TO COMPLETE THE IMPROVEMENT OF THAT PART OF MAIN STREET FROM
MILL 5TREET TO MASON 5TREET IN THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
WHEREAS, By Contract dated July 31, 1964, duly authorized by
Ordinance, Sugerior Concretors agreed with the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, to improve, within ninety days from August 10, 1964, according
to the_terms of said Contract, that part of Main Street from the center of
Mill Street to the center of Mason Street; and,
WHEREAS, Due to the inability of said c�ntractor to work on said
improvement due to the fact that other improvements were made on the same
street near the area of such improvement and prevented the improveznents
being xnade which were the subject o� the contract rnentioned herein; and
WHEREAS, Said contractor ha.s requeated tha.t the City Council grant
an extension of tixne for the performance of said contract to complete the
ixnprovements �f said street, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED By the City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, as follows:
Section 1. Tha.t Superior C�ncretors, c�ntract�r, is hereby granted
an extension of thirty days from the 9th day of 1Vovember, 7�964, within which
to complete its contract with �he City for the improvement of Main Street from
the center of Mill Street to the center of Mason Stree�
Section 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordin.ances in conflict with the
provisions hereof are hereby repealed.
