AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING QUIT CLAIM DEED FROM
FRED BLECHLE AND VELMA BLECHLE, HUSBAND AND WIFE,
TO A STRIP OF LAND IN LOT 7 OF ROBERT 5TURDIVANT'5
SUBDIVISION FOR STREET PURPOSES FOR THE
EXTENSION OF BES5IE STREET
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ca.pe Girardeau, Mis-
souri, ha.s this day passed an ordinance adopting plans and specifications
for the extension of Bessie Street in tha City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri;
and,
WHEREAS, Fred Blechle and Velma Blechle have exacuted a Quit
Claim Deed dated October 1, 1963, conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, a strip of land in Lot 7 of Robert S�urdivant's Subdivision as more
fully described hereinafter in this ordinance, and the City desires to accept
said Quit Claim Deed and have the same recorded;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a� follows:
Section 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby accepts
a Quit Claim Deed dated October 1, 1963, executed by Fred Blechle and
Velma Blechle, husband and wife, conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, the following described real estate, situate in th� City of Cape
Girardeau, County of Cape Girardeau and State of Missouri, to-wit:
The South 35 feet of the West 50 feet of the South
345. 5 feet of Lot 7 of Robert Sturdivant�s Subdivision of
Outlots 58, 59, 81 and Part of 60 in the City of Cape Gir-
ardeau, Missouri,
and it is ordered that sa.id deed be recorded in the office of the Recorder of
Deeds of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri.
Section 2. The said conveyance is accepted for street purposes
and the forsgoing described real estate shali be naxned Bessie Street.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten (10)
days after its passage and appraval.
