A1V ORDINANCE AMENDING 5ECTION 18 OF THE GENERAL
ORDINANCES OF CAPE GIRARDEAU BY ESTABLISHTNG
RULES FOR BURLAL IAT THE MAUSOLEUM BUILDING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 - Subsection 18. 16 of the General Ordinances of Cape
Girardeau, is hereby repea.led and there is ena.cted in lieu thereof a new
Section 18. 16 to read ae follows:
"All funeral directors desiring to bury deceased persons
in the Mausoleum Building in the City of Cape Girardeau,
Mis souri, sha.11 apply to the City Clerk for a burial
permit to be issued for a fee of twenty dollara($20. 00).
Upon receipt of the application, the Cit�r Clerk shall
isaue a certificate showing the name of the deceased
pers�n, the na.me of the funeral director, and the space
in the Mausoleum Building that is to be used to inter
the deceased person. All funeral directors who shall
make application for a certificate for burial in said
Mausoleum Building sha.11 be required to bear the cost
of opening and closing the space in said Ma.usoleum
Building wherein such deceased person shall be intered.
5ection 2 -� Subsection 18. 16 amended by Section 1 hereinbefore
shall be reinstated as 18. 17.
Section 3 - Thie ordin.ance shall be in force and take effect
ten days after ita passage and approval.
