AN URDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 24 OF THE
GENERA L ORDINANCES OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
RELATING TO SUBDIVISIONS BY ADDING SECTION
24. 0 6.
BE IT ORDAINED B Y THE CIT Y COUNCIL OF T HE CIT Y OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 - 5ection 24 of the General Ordinances of Cape
Girardeau, is hereby amended by the addition of 5ection 24. 06, which new
subsectian 24. �6 reads as follows:
No addition or subdivision shall be accepted by
ordinance and approved and declared to be a part
of the City of Cape Girardeau until the grade s of
all streeta, public ways and alleys in said addition
ar subdivision have been set and shown by profile.
Such profile shall show the proposed curb line
grade, together with the present grade. No residence
or building located in such addition or subdivision
sha.11 be occupied until the street adjacent to said
improvement has been completed and approved for
use by the Engineer of the City of Cape Girardeau.
SECTION 2 - This ordina.nce shall be in force and ta.ke effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
Passed and approved this 25th day of January, 1965.
