AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A QUIT CLAIM DEED F'ROM
LEONAR,D W, LOWES, FOR THAT PORTION OF PERRY-
VILLE ROAD AS SHOWN ON A PLAT CALLED WOODLAND
HILLS SUBDIVISION, PART OF U. S. PRIVATE SURVEY NO.
2198, TOWN5HIP 31 NORTH, RANGE 13 EAST, CITY AND
COUNTY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, STATE OF MISSOURI, AS
RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 8, PAGE 18
WHEREAS, Leonard W, Lowes has executed a Quit Claim Deed,
conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a portion of U, S.
Private Survey No, 2198, Township 31 North, Range 13 East, in the
City and County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, as more fully described
hereinafter in this Ordinance, and the City desires to accept such deed
and have the sarne recorded.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby accepts
a Quit Claim �eed executed by Leonard W. Lowes dated the 18th day of
September, 1970, conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, the
following described real estate located in the City and County of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri:
That portion of Perryville Road as shown on a plat called
Woodland Hills Subdivision, Part of U, S. Private Survey
No, 2198, Township 31 North, Range 13 East, City and
County of Cape Girardeau, State of Missouri, as recorded
in Plat Book 8 at Page 18.
5ECTION 2, The Quit Claim Deed hereby conveyed as described
in Section 1 hereof is for the purpose of enabling the City, its agents,
servants and assigns to improve Perryville Road in the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, from Perry Avenue to Cape Rock Drive, all as shown
on the plans for said improvement.
SECTION 3, It is ordered by the Council of the City of Cape Girardeau
that said deed be recorded by the City Clerk in the office of the Recorder
of Deeds of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri.
SECTION �. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten
(10) days after its passage and approval.
