AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE POLLING PLACE FOR WARD NUMBER 12, IN
THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, FROM MAY GREENE SCHOOL,
LOCATED AT LOCUST AND FORT STREETS, TO FORT "D", FOR SPECIAL
ELECTION TO BE HELD ON INDUSTRIAL REVENUE BONDS FOR H.W.I.
BUILDING CORPORATION

TnIHEREA5, May Greene School is presently undergoing certain
repairs �hich would be a hazard to Citizens using tfiis School
for a polli,ng place; and,
WHEREAS, the City is uncertain as to when these repairs
will be completed; and,
WHEREA5, there are faci,lities available at Fort "D" for
a polling place;
NO�nT, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCZL OF THE CITY
OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MI550URZ, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l. The Polli,ng Place for [nIard Number 12 is herebX
temporarily ch.anged from May Greene 5chool at Locust and Fort Streets
to Fort "D" which is immedi.ately across from the May Greene School,
on a temporary basi,s for the purpose of holding a Speci;al Election
to vote on the issuance of Industri.al Revenue Bonds for H.W. I.
Building Corporati,on. �
SECTZON 2. That it i,s necessary to start the publications and
it is essential to proceed immediately and as soon as possible with
the issuance of Industrial Revenue Bonds for H.W. I. Building
Corporation and tFierefore an emergency i� declared. TYu:s Ordinance
shall become effective immediately upon its passage and approval.
