AN ORDZNANCE �ROVID�NG FOR THE LEVYING OF THE ANNUAL CITY REVENUE
TAX; LIBRA.RY FUND TAX; PUBLIC HEALTH TAX; (1958) AIRPORT IMPROVE-
MENT BOND �ND INTEREST FUND TAX; AIRPORT IMPROVEMENT BOND AND
INTEREST �'UND TAX, 1965; FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING ON THE 30TH
DAY OF JUNE, 1971
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GI�ARDEAU,
N�ZSSQURZ, ,AS FQLLQtnIS:
SECTION l. There is hereby levied for the fiscal year
enda,ng on th.e 3Qth day of June 1971, a City Revenue Tax of ninety-
six cent� (�. 96) on th.e One Hundred Dollars ($100 .00) assessed
valuation of all property within the City limits made taxable by
law �or State and County purposes and by Ordinances of the City
and not b�r general la�nt exempt from taxation for Municipal purposes .
SECTTON 2. There i.s hereby 1evi:ed £or the fiscal year
ending on the 3Qth day o� June, 1971, a LibrarX Tax of t�rerity cents
($. 2a) on the One Hundred Dollars ($100. OQ) asse�sed valuation of
all prope�ty within the Ci.ty limits made taxaiale by� law and the
Ordina�ces of the City for State and County purposes and not by
general law exempt from taxation for Municipal purposes.
SECTION 3. There is hereby levi.ed for th.e fi.scal year
ending on the 30th day of June, 1971 a Public Health Tax of six
cents ($. 06) on the One Hundred Dollars ($1QQ.A0� assessed valuation
of all property within the City Limits made taxable by law and the
Ordinances of the City for State and County purposes and not by
general law exempt from taxation for Municipal purposes.
SECTION 4 . There is herehy ledied for the fiscal year
ending on the 3Qth day of June, 1971, an (1958) Airport Improvement
Bond and Interes_t Fund Tax of six cents ($ . 06) on the One Hundred
Dollars ($100 . 00) assessed valuation of all property within the City
limits made taxable by law and the Ordinances of the City for State
and County purposes and not by general la� exempt from taxati.on for
Municipal purposes.
SECTION 5. There is hereby levied for the fiscal year
ending on the 30th day of June, 1971, an (1965) Airport Bond

and Intere�t Fund Tax of thirteen cerits ($. 13) on the One Hundred
Dollars ($100. �Q) a�sessed valuation of all property within the
City limits made taxable by la� and the Ordi.nances of the City
for State and Gounty purposes and not by general law exempt from
taxation £or Municipal purposes.
SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force at the expiration of ten (10) days from and after its passage
and approval.
