CITY MANAGER FORM ORDINANCE NO. �oZ �.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, BY CHANGING THE ZONING
OF PART OF THE SOUTHWE5T QUARTER OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF
SECTION 26, TOTiVVN5HIP 31 NORTH, RANGE 13 EAST, CITY AND COUNTY
OF CAPE GIRA,RDEAU, 5TATE OF MISSOURI, FROM R-1 TO MH-1
WHEREA5, Cape Drive-In Theaters, Inc. , has applied
for rezoning of all of the property described in Section 1
of this Ordinance to be rezoned from R-1 Single-Family Dwelling
District to MH-1 Mobile Home Park District; and,
WHEREAS, Public Notice of such change was given as
prescribed in Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and public hearing was held
on Wednesday, October 6, 1971; and,
WHEREA5, the Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, has elected to rezone the property described in
Section l from R-1 Single-Family Dwelling District to MH-1
Mobile Home Park bistrict;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF C.APE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI , AS FOLLOTAS:
SEGTION l. Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri , is hereby amended to create
an MH-1 Mobile Home Park District so as to include the following
described property:
Part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter of Section 26, Township 31 North, Range l3
East, City and County of Cape Girardeau, State of
Missouri, described as follows: �
Start at the Southeast corner of the Southwest
Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 26 ;
thence North, along the quarter-quarter section line,
350 .0 feet to the point of beginning; thence West,
parallel to the east-west quarter section line, 827.0
feet; thence North, 588.0 feet; thence East, 282 .0
feet; thence South 25° 20 ' East, 105 .0 feet; thence
East, 172. 0 feet; thence South, 287.0 feet; thence
East, 328.07 feet to the aforementioned quarter-quarter
section line; thence South 206. 10 feet to the point
of beginning, and containing 7. 86 acres.
SECTION 2 . The City Council hereby finds and declares
that the property described in Section 1 hereof is at the

present time particularly suitable for the purposes and uses of
MH-1 Mobile Home Park District, and that such changes authorized
hereby are reasonabTe and in reasonable conformi.ty with the
existing uses and value of the immediately surrounding
prope.rties .
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect teri days after its passage and approval.
