AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A QUIT CLAIM DEED FROM LEONARD W. LOWES
AND HELEN J. LOWE5, A. D. PRIGE AND BETTY J . PRICE FOR PART OF
OUTLOT 55 AND 56, U.S . PRIVATE SURVEY N0. 2199, TOWNSHIP 30 NORTH,
RANGE 13 AND 14 EA5T, CITY AND COUNTY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, STATE OF
MISSOURI FOR 5TREET RIGHT-OF-WAY TO IMPROVE AND CON5TRUCT STREETS
ON SPRING STREET
WHEREAS, Leonard W. Lowes and Helen J . Lowes, A. D, Price
and Betty J. Price have executed a' Quit Claim Deed, conveying to
the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, part of Outlot 55 and 56 ,
U. S . Private 5urvey No. 2199 , Township 30 North, Range 13 and 14
East, City and County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, as more fully
described hereinafter in this Ordinance, and the City desires to
accept suCh deed and have the same recorded.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MI550URI, AS FOLLOWS:
5ECTION 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts a Quit Claim Deed executed by Leonard W. Lowes and Helen J.
Lowes, A. D. Price and Betty J . Price, dated the 24th day of
August, 1971, conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
the following described real estate located in the City and
County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri:
Part of Outlot 55 and 56, U.S . Private Survey No. 2199 ,
Township 30 North, Range 13 and 14 East, City and County
of Cape Girardeau, State of Missouri , described as
follows:
A parcel of ground 50 feet wide, lying 25 feet either
side of the following described center line: Begin at the
center line of Clark Avenue at the north line of Kenrick
5econd Subdivision;thence North 6° 48' East, along said
center line extended, 206 .7 feet to the point of curve
of a 30° 42 ' curve to the right; thence along said
curve, 97 .7 feet to the point of reverse curve; thence
along a 30° 42 ' curve ta the 1eft, 97 .7 feet to the
point of tangent of said curve; thence North 7° 0 ' East,
along the center line of 5pring Avenue, exterided South,
as same was Quit Claimed to the City of Cape Girardeau
by Kenrick Properties, Incorporated, 206 .7 feet to the
center line of Spring Avenue, as same was Quit Claimed by
Kenrick Properties Incorporated,to the City of Cape
Gira:rdeau on the north line of a 25. 042 acre tract conveyed
to L�eonard W. and Helen J . Lowes and A. D. and Betty Price.
SECT:ION 2 . The Quit Clairn Deed hereby conveyed as
described in Section 1 hereof is for the purpose of enabling

the City, it:� agents , servants and assigns to improve and construct
streets on 5pring 5treet, in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri .
SECT]:ON 3. It is ordered by the Council of the City of
Cape Girardeau that said deed be recorded by the City Clerk in
the Office of: the Recorder of Deeds of Cape Girardeau County,
Missouri.
SECTI:ON 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage and approval.
