AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A QUIT CLAIM DEED FROM BLATTNER BROTHER5,
INCORPORATED FOR PART OF RODNEY 400 ARPEN TR.ACT, U.S .P . SURVEY
N0. 2199 , RE.CORDED IN BOOK 250 AT PAGE 687, CITY AND COUNTY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, STATE OF MISSOURI, FOR 5TREET RIGHT-OF-WAY TO
IMPROVE AND CON5TRUCT STREETS AT THE INTER5ECTION OF BLOOMFIELD
ROAD AND U.S. 1�.OUTE 61
WHEREAS, Blattner Brothers, Incorporated, by Louis C.
Blattner, Jr. , President and Paul E . Blattner, Secretary, a
corporation of the State of Missouri, have executed a Quit
Claim Deed, conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
part of Rodney 400 Arpen Tract, U.S.P. Survey No. 2199 , Recorded
in Book 250 at Page 687, in the City and County of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, as more fully described hereinafter in this Ordinance,
and the City desires to accept such deed and have the same
recorded.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWSt
SECTION 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
hereby accepts a Quit Claim Deed executed by Blattner Brothers ,
Incorporated, by Louis C. Blattner, Jr. , President and Paul E.
Blattner, Secretary, a corporation of the State of Missouri,
dated the lst day of July, 1971, conveying to the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, the following described real estate located
in the City and County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri:
Part of the Rodney 400 Arpen Tract, U.S .P. Survey No. 2199 ,
City and County of Cape Girardeau, State of Missouri, being
all that part of said Rodney 400 Arpen Tract, as same is
described in a deed recorded in Book 250 at Page 687, of
the land records of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri, lying
25 feet either side of the following described center
line. Start at a stone on the East line of Lot 2,
Rodney 400 Arpen Tract, U.S.P. Survey No. 2199 , from
which stone the Northeast corner of Lot 5, Block 2,
Edgewood Addition, bears South 27° 30 ' East, 14. 3 feet;
thence South 27° 30 ' East, along said East line, 1,015. 0
feet; thence South 66° West, 40 .1 feet to the West
line of Nancy Lane; thence South 24° East, 20 .0 feet to
the center line of the Bloomfield Road and the point of
beginning; thence North 66° East , 12 .7 feet to the point
of curve of a 13° 24' curve to the left; thence along said
curve, 99 . 6 feet to the point of tangent of said curve;
thence North 52° 40 ' East, 385.9 feet to the point of

curve of a 5° curve to the left; thence along said curve
95 .0 feet to the point of tangent of said curve; thence
North 47° 55 ' East, 187 .3 feet to the point of curve of
a 28° 39 ' curve to the left; thence along said curve to
the left 124 . 4 feet to the point of tangent of said curve,
thence North 12° 16 ' East, 345.2 feet to the point of
curve of a 28° 39 ' curve to the right; thence with said
curve to the right, 309 .4 feet, to the West line of U.S .
Highway Route No. 61, and there terminating and this land
acquired for the purpose of establishing a definate
50 foot right of way on Bloomfield Road and said land to
be used for street purposes .
Also a 10 foot wide easement for construction of a
drainage ditch lying along and adjacent to the left side
of the above described 50 foot wide right of way for the
last 287.9 feet thereof.
Also part of the Rodney 400 Arpen Tract, U.S.P. Survey
No. 2199 , City and County of Cape Girardeau, 5tate of
Missouri, described as .follows : Begin at the intersection
of the East line of U. S. Highway Route 61 and the South
line of a parcel of ground, as same is described in a
deed recorded in Book 250 at Page 687 of the land records
of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri; thence North 47°
45 ' East, along said South line 200. 4 feet; thence North
42° 15 ' West, to the point of curve of a 28° 21' curve
to the right on the North line of proposed Bloomfield Road,
the tangent to which point of curve bears North 47° 45 '
East; thence in a Westerly direction along said 28° 21'
curve to the right 107 . 7 feet to the East line of U. S.
Highway Route No. 61; thence South along said East line,
119 .6 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. The Quit Claim Deed hereby conveyed as
described in Section 1 hereof is for the purpose of enabling the
City, its agents , servants and assigns to improve and construct
streets at the intersection of Bloomfield Road and U.S . Route 61
in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
SECTION 3. It is ordered by the Council of the City of
Cape Girardeau that said deed be recorded by the City Clerk in the
Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage and approval.
