AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A QUIT CLAIM DEED FROM STEPHEN E.
STROM AND PATRICIA F. STROM FOR ALL OF LEXINGTON AVENUE
AND PART OF SH�RWOOD DRIVE IN NORTHFIELD FIRST SUBDIVISION ,
CITY AND COUNTY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, STATE OF MISSOURI , FOR
STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY TO IMPROVE AND CONSTRUCT STREETS IN
NORTHFIELD FIRST SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, Stephen E. Strom and Patricia F. Strom,
his wife, have executed a Quit Claim Deed, conveying to
the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, all of Lexington
Avenue and part of Sherwood Drive in Northfield First
5ubdivision, in the City and County of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, as more fully described hereinafter in this
Ordinance, and the City desires to accept such deed and
have the same recorded.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI , AS FOLLO�iVS:
SECTION 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
hereby accepts a Quit Claim Deed executed by Stephen E.
Strom and Patricia F. Strom, his wife, dated the 7th day
of July, 1971 , conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, the following described real estate located in
the City and County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri :
All of Lexington Avenue, and that part of
Sherwood Drive running from the south lines of
Lots 2 and 3 to the north lines of Lots 34 and
26 , all in NorthfieLd.. First Subdivision to the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
This instrument is for the purpose of
dedicating the above described property for
the purposes shown on the plat, subdivision,
and restrictive covenants of Northfield First
5ubdivision, being right-of-way for public
street purposes.
SECTION 2. The Quit Claim Deed hereby conveyed
as described in Section 1 hereof is for the purpose of
enabling the City, its agents , servants and assigns to

improve and construct streets in Northfield First
5ubdivision, in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
SECTION 3 . It is ordered by the Council of the
City of Cape Girardeau that said deed be recorded by the
City Clerk in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of
Cape Girardeau County, Missouri.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect ten days after its passage and approval.
