Such tax �ills shall be assigned to the contractor, as sha11 be payable from and after 60 days from the date of issue, and said tax bills shall provide that if they are not paid when due they �hall bear interest at the rate of eight per cent (8�) per annum, and shall become immediately due aild payable.
