AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING QUIT CLAIM DEEDS FROM 5CHNEIDER EQUIPMENT
COMPANY; CAPE READY MIX COMPANY, INC. ; AND CHARLES F. �LATTNER,
CHARLOTTE BLATTNER 5HERFIELD, JEAN BLATTNER HENRY, DONALD K.
BLATTNER, ROB�RT C. BLATTNER, PAUL E. BLATTNER, AND BARBARA
BLATTNER 5HAFFNER FOR PART OF RODNEY 400 ARPEN TRACT, U. S.
PRIVATE SURVEY NO. 2199, CITY AND COUNTY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, 5TATE
OF MISSOURI, FOR 5TREET RIGHT-OF-WAY TO IMPROVE THE INTERSECTION
OF BLOOMFIELD ROAD AND U. 5. HIGHWAY 61
WHEREAS , Schneider Equipment Company, Cape Ready Mix
Company, Inc, Charles F. Blattner, Charlotte Bl.attner Sherfield,
Jean Blattner Henry, Donald K. Blattner, Robert C. Blattner, Paul
E. Blattner, and Barbara Blattner 5haffner have executed Quit
Claim Deeds, conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
part of Rodney 400 Arpen Tract, U. S. Private Survey No. 2199 ,
in the City and County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri , as more f ully
described hereinafter in this Ordinance, and the City desires to
accept such deeds and have the same recorded;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, A5 FOLLOWS:
5ECTION l. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts Quit Claim Deeds executed by 5chneider Equipment Company,
Cape Ready Mix Company, Inc. , Charles F. Blattner, Charlotte
Blattner Sherfield, Jean Blattner Henry, .Donald K. Blattner, Robert C.
Blattner, Paul E. Blattner, and Barbara Blattner Shaffner, conveying
to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, the following described
real estate located in the City and County of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri:
Part of Rodney 400 Arpen Tract, U.S.P . Survey
No. 2199 , City and County of Cape Girardeau, State of
Missouri, being all that part of said Rodney 400 Arpen
Tract, as same is described in a deed recorded in
Book 140 at Page 210 and Book 129 at Page 250 , of the
land records of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri, lying
25 fe�t either side of the following described center
line. Start at a stone on the East line of Lot 2 ,
Rodney 400 Arpen Tract, U.S.P . Survey No. 2199 , from
which stone the Northeast corner of Lot 5 , Block 2,
Edgewood Addition, bears South 27° 30 ' East, 14. 3 feet;
therice South 27° 30 ' East, along said East line,

feet to the center line of Bloomfield Road and the

said Curve to the right, 309 .4 feet, to the West
line of U. S. Highway Route Number 61, and there
terminating and this land acquired for the purpose
of establishing a definite 50 foot right of way on
Bloomfield Road and said land to be used for street
purposes .

Arpen Tract belonging to Cape Ready Mix, Inc. , as same

and Book 164 at Page 360 , of the land records of Cape
Girardeau County, .Missouri , lying 25 feet eithe:r side

Tract, U. S.P. Survey No. 2199 , from which stone the
Northeast corner of Lot 5, Block 2, Edgewood Addition,
bears 5outh 27° 30 ' East, 14 . 3 feet; thence South

thence South 66° West, 40. 1 feet, to the West line of

Also a 10 foot wide easement for construction of a
drainage ditch lying along and adjacent to the left side
of the above described 50 foot wide right of way for the
last 287. 9 feet thereof.
Also part of the Rodney 400 Arpen Tract, U. S .P. Survey
No. 2199 , City and County of Cape Girardeau, 5tate of
Missouri, described as follows: Begin at the intersection
of the East line of U. S . Highway Route 61 and the South
line of a parcel of ground, as same is described in a
deed recorded in Book 250 at Page 687 of the land records
of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri; thence North 47° 45 '
East, along said South line 200. 4 feet; thence North
42° 15 ' �Iest, to the point of curve of a 28° 21' curve
to the right on the North line of proposed Bloomfield
Road, the tangent to which point of curve bears North
47° 45 ' East; thence in a F�est'erly direction along said
28° 21 ' curve to the right 107. 7 feet to the East line
of U. 5. Highway Route No. 61; thence 5outh along said
East line, 119 . 6 feet to the point of beginning.
5ECTION 2 . The Quit Claim Deeds hereby conveyed as
described in Section 1 hereof are for the purpose of enabling the
City, its agerits , servants and assigns to improve the street
intersection of Bloomfield and U. S . Highway 61, in the City of
Cape Girardeau, Missouri .
SECTION 3. It is ordered by the Council of the City of
Cape Girardeau that said deeds be recorded by the City Clerk in
the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cape Girardeau County,
Missouri .

SECTION 4 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage and approval.
